Nexus Ivy is exclusively for college students. We verify that you have access to a valid .edu email address when you create an account. We do not contact your university or share your registration status with your institution.
Nexus Ivy is an independent commercial service and is not a school official under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We do not access, receive, or store education records maintained by your university. Your .edu email is used solely to verify your enrollment status — we do not contact your institution, and your institution does not receive any information about your Nexus Ivy account, orders, or activity.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal profile and payment tokens within 30 days. Order history is retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance, stored in anonymized form after account deletion.
We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

We send push notifications for order status updates, NI Points milestones, and promotional offers you've opted into. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.
Nexus Ivy is intended for college students aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has created an account, we will delete that account and its data. Contact privacy@nexusivy.com if you believe a minor has provided us information.
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit, Firebase Security Rules for database access control, and Stripe for PCI-compliant payment processing. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@nexusivy.com immediately.
When we make material changes, we will notify you via push notification or email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Plain English summary: Use Nexus Ivy to order food on campus. Be a real college student. Pay for what you order. Don't abuse the platform. If something goes wrong with an order, contact support and we'll make it right.
By downloading, installing, or using the Nexus Ivy mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Nexus Ivy Inc. ("Nexus Ivy," "we," "us," or "our").
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes with at least 30 days' notice via push notification or email.

Providing false information to bypass the .edu requirement is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@nexusivy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not create more than one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that are inactive for more than 24 consecutive months.
Placing an order: When you place an order through Nexus Ivy, you are entering into a transaction with the partner restaurant. Nexus Ivy acts as a technology platform facilitating that transaction and is not the seller of the food.
Pricing: Menu prices are set by partner restaurants and may change without notice. The price displayed at the time you place an order is the price you will be charged.
Payment: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize Nexus Ivy to charge that method for your order total.
Refunds and cancellations: Once a restaurant confirms your order, cancellation may not be possible. If your order is cancelled by the restaurant or a significant quality issue occurs, contact support within 48 hours. Refunds are issued at Nexus Ivy's discretion and are generally credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Robot delivery: Robot delivery is provided by independent third-party operators (including Starship Technologies and Kiwibot), not by Nexus Ivy. These operators are independent contractors and not employees or agents of Nexus Ivy. Nexus Ivy is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or any personal injury or property damage caused by robot delivery hardware or operations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus Ivy's liability for any claim arising from a robot delivery is limited to the cost of the affected order.
NI Points are earned on eligible purchases and redeemable for rewards as described in the app. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash. Nexus Ivy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the NI Points program at any time with 30 days' notice. Points expire after 12 months of account inactivity. Fraudulently obtained points will be forfeited and may result in account termination.
Nexus Ivy allows users to send food gifts to other verified students through the Treat-a-Friend feature. By sending a gift, you authorize Nexus Ivy to charge your payment method for the gift order total at the time of checkout.
Unclaimed gifts: If the recipient has not created a Nexus Ivy account, the gift will be held for 14 days. If unclaimed after 14 days, the gift order is cancelled and a full refund is issued to the sender's original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Surprise mode: If you enable surprise mode, the recipient will not see order details until the order is delivered. Always consider allergen information when gifting — Nexus Ivy is not responsible if the recipient has dietary restrictions you were not aware of.
When you create or join a Dorm Pool group order, the host is responsible for initiating checkout and payment for the entire group. Each participant is responsible for ensuring their items are added before the host locks the order. Nexus Ivy is not responsible for disputes between Dorm Pool participants regarding payment or item selection.
Menu items and allergen information are provided by partner restaurants. Nexus Ivy is not responsible for the accuracy of allergen information listed on restaurant menus. If you have severe food allergies, contact the restaurant directly before placing an order. Nexus Ivy's dietary conflict detection feature is a convenience tool — do not rely on it as your sole safeguard against allergen exposure.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of NI Points, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
The Nexus Ivy name, logo, app design, and all original content are the property of Nexus Ivy Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Nexus Ivy content without written permission.
Nexus Ivy integrates with third-party services including Stripe, Firebase, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and robot delivery providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Nexus Ivy is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party service providers.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. NEXUS IVY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. NEXUS IVY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF FOOD PROVIDED BY PARTNER RESTAURANTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXUS IVY'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO NEXUS IVY IN THE 90 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing support@nexusivy.com. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your NI Points and any pending rewards are forfeited.
